An OG Fortnite project running Chapter 2 Season 8, version 18.40. Anti-cheat on, lategame like the real thing, and a few features of our own.
Old Fortnite, done properly
Project Ruin hosts version 18.40 of Fortnite, the last stretch of Chapter 2 Season 8. Same map, same weapons, same Sideways. We care about the small details, because that's what makes a match feel like it did back in 2021.
Ruin is run by fans and made for fans. It has nothing to do with Epic Games and isn't endorsed by them in any way. If you miss this era of Fortnite, you're in the right place.
What you get
Season 8, live
Chapter 2 Season 8 is running on version 18.40. Hop in whenever you feel like it.
Anti-cheat
It's on from the start. Cheating gets you removed, so the lobbies stay about actual gameplay.
Identical lategame
Final circles play the way they did on the official servers. No weird changes, no guessing.

1. Using Ruin
By joining our Discord or playing on Project Ruin, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the project.
2. Not affiliated with Epic Games
Project Ruin is an independent fan project. It is not made, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Epic Games, Inc. Fortnite and all related names, logos and content are trademarks or registered trademarks of Epic Games. We don't claim any ownership over them.
3. Fair play
No cheats, hacks, exploits, macros or third-party tools that give an advantage. Our anti-cheat is active and we can ban players without warning. Trying to get around a ban will get the new account banned too.
4. Behavior
Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, scams or illegal content, in matches or in our community. Staff have the final say on moderation.
5. Your data
To let you log in and play, we may store your Discord ID, your username and basic gameplay stats. We don't sell your data.
6. No guarantees
Ruin is provided as is. It can go offline, restart or change at any time, and stats or progress may be reset. We aren't responsible for anything lost along the way.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If you keep using Ruin after an update, you accept the new version. The latest one is always on this page.
